Handmade Buddha From Vietnam
Just arrived today. Made by a Vietnamese family with over 100 years of experience in making hand carved Buddha statues of very high quality. The Buddha measures 45 cm in height and 30 cm in width.
It’s humbling to watch how the process of hand carving a Buddha statue unfolds from being a solid block of wood until the finished artwork is done. Here’s a video of a Balinese hand carver at work.
